Can I just say it makes me so happy that when John was imagining his friends he had Dave, Rose, and Karkat. Like none of the other trolls, but he still remembered Karkat an that is really awesome.

So, this is a thing that happened, and something a lot of people have been focusing on. I have reason to believe things are not what they seem, and while a lot of this may be fairly obvious, there’s still a lot here that’s not on the level.
Let’s talk about it.
All of the characters writing off Gamzee, including Hussie’s self insertion, really worries me. Hussie does not have two dimensional characters. Especially not ones that last this long in the story. It’s like something’s trying to distract everyone from taking Gamzee seriously, writing him off as a pawn instead of a potentially once again dangerous wildcard.
Also, with Terezi I was kind of under the impression that Faygo was sort of like alcohol for trolls?
Like, Dave is worried about Rose’s drinking problem while Karkat doesn’t consider a ‘soporific substance’ like alcohol a problem. And Dave doesn’t consider Faygo a problem, while it seems to have resulted in Terezi ending up shit-faced and passed out in her boxers.
Which would mean that both seers seem to be dealing with the same problems at the moment. And they will both be facing interventions from Knights. Huh.
Fuck.

And then Karkat’s life still sucks. At least he seems less depressed about it? Cause he’s got Dave now, Dave was depressed, too, they really did need each other’s friendbroship.
FUCK this both describes Karkat’s shitty relationship with Gamzee and my reaction to this update.

Oh no, what if neither Karkat nor Dave knows yet and we’re ABOUT TO SEE THEM FIND OUT. Karkat would think that, too. He would be so in denial as to ignore the Faygo and horns, or convince himself that Dave and Terezi were using them. AND WHERE IS DAVE HE PROBABLY DOESN’T KNOW EITHER.

Either way, it seems safe to assume that Jane and Jake are both fucked. And if history repeats itself, Derse will be attacked next.
